This morning I sat on my patio porch and watched the hummingbirds get the nectar from the flowers. My little dog ran around in the yard, happy to greet the new day. I could hear the birds sing, My morning paper lay unopened on my lap. For awhile I knew that God was in His Heaven and all was right with the world. I would enjoy the quiet except for nature's sweet sounds. Too soon I would be faced with the world problems of the day as the TV's would blare out the war news and the commentators would try to persuade us how we should think and divide us as a country. It was a beautiful morning and I was happy to give thanks for the day, for my life and my wonderful family and friends and for Joy in The Morning.
