RAISING HAPPY KIDS
If you have ever wanted to know the science behind what makes kids happy, a great place to start is ...

One weekend day, my father took me and my older brother to a motorcycle store to get some needed spare parts and check out all the new dirt bikes. While we were there, two large store front glass windows were being replaced (the existing windows were shattered). Workers from a glass replacement company began to poke at the shattered glass to remove it. It happened to be closing time and store employees were bringing in the displayed motorcycles from out front.

Once one of the demo'd glass windows was down, guys from the motorcycle shop began using it as a door to bring in the new bikes. While we were checking out at the register my dad asked the guy, "Wouldn't it be less expensive to bring them in through the door each night?" It was one of the funniest things I ever heard my dad say. It always was a treat to hear some of my dad's quick humor.
