Rated as very harsh on students , my school -The Rosary School in Pune- India; was not very popular among students due to the strictness fin all forms from our Head mistress and our Principal. But the value of that discipline is understood by me now at the age of 40. It has played a major role in crafting what I am as a person today. The habits of cleanliness and most importantly the abilities to organize and prioritize come from the school years. This is a great help for me in my work place as I work as a Secretary . The techniques for self discipline were subconsciously nailed into us. I am grateful for our headmistress and our headmaster in inculcating the good habits we have imbibed and for developing our language skills : be it English or Hindi or Marathi. They had clear objectives for the students and for forming their characters and I appreciate every bit of that to date. I give examples of our school , our teachers and our study methods to my children and feel sorry that they could not be a part of this school. I am thankful for my school to give me such good memories and a nice enviornment to grow in.
