Thank you for serving on the PTO board with me this past year. You have shared your intelligence, ability to look ahead AND see the big picture at the same time, willingness to get dirty and sweaty, and (even more importantly) your humor! When I reflect on the year I think about working over the summer to prepare all those forms and documents, cleaning out the storage "vault" when it was over 100 degrees, setting up for Fall Festival and nervously waiting to see who would come, juggling all of the fundraisers, special events and holiday activities during the school year, and doing things that were not always popular (at first), but served our school well. Thank you for sharing ideas, being our "web-savvy" board member, and finding those grant opportunities (to the tune of $10,500 and counting)! I hope you will enjoy a relaxing summer with your family and have a chance to catch up on those scrapbooks and home office projects. I look forward to seeing you in the fall!
