I was driving home from work Friday on the 101 freeway. All of a sudden my car started to shake and a loud thumping noise was coming from the back. I pulled over to the shoulder and got out to take a look. It was my first flat tire! We'll it is 113 degrees and cars are racing past me. I got back into my car and started to call a friend when a truck pulled up behind me. I got out and met the man at the back of my car. He asked if I needed to have my tire changed. I told him was going to call a friend, but he said he could have it changed in no time. He opened the trunk, got out the spare and jack, and changed the tire in less than 10 minutes. The sweat was dripping off his face and I felt so bad, but he just smiled and said I was no problem. He told me there was a tire shop off the next exit and told me to have a nice weekend. He wouldn't accept any money. I just wanted to say thank you for being so nice. It was far more than I ever would have expected from a stranger. It's nice to know there are still gentleman out there!
